2. THE RAMP4

2.1 The Ramp consists of the contiguous row of hexes R5-R14. The Ramp varies in height from Level 0 (R5 and R6) to Level 1 (R11-R14). Hexes R7-R10 are equivalent to Hillocks (F6.4 - 6.53) for purposes of LOS/LOF, elevation and MF/MP costs [EXC: Road MF/MP costs apply when crossing road hexsides in these hexes]. The Hillock effects begin with the artwork in hex R7 (i.e. hexside R6/R7 is at Level 0) and extend to the R10/R11 hexside (inclusive) (i.e., the R10/R11 hex side is a hillock hexside; the Crest Line for hex R11 is considered to lie at south edge of the R10/R11 hexside).

2.2 LOS: Units on the Ramp have no LOS to any Locations under the bridge. In season Orchards are an LOS obstacle between a unit on a Hillock and a unit at ground level (or ≥ Level one). Units in Bridge/Ramp Locations are treated as being at the same level as one another for all LOS between them.

2.3 MF/MP: Normal road MF/MP costs apply to movement along the ramp and/or bridge provided the units cross road hexsides. Additional MF/MP costs for changing elevations (A4.133, C10.4) are NA while crossing road hexsides on the Ramp and/or Arnhem Bridge.

2.4 All hexes of the Ramp are wide city boulevards (B7).
